Barcode and scale labels, split and part-foreign payments, held tickets, returns, and a second screen facing the customer.
Built for the shop floor
Fatoura runs the counter and everything behind it: scan and sell, keep stock honest, order from suppliers, and see the day's takings before you lock up. English and Arabic, on the hardware you already own.
Barcode and scale labels, split and part-foreign payments, held tickets, returns, and a second screen facing the customer.
Every movement is written to a ledger that reconciles. Counts, adjustments with reasons, batches and expiry dates.
Takings by product, category, cashier or hour. Profit, margin, VAT and stock valuation, all exportable.
A permission per task, a discount ceiling per cashier, and a manager PIN for the exceptions - with a record of who approved what.
If the network drops mid-shift the till carries on. Sales queue on the machine and sync when it returns, without ever double-counting.
English and Arabic throughout, right to left where it belongs, including the printed receipt.
Fatoura is a point-of-sale and back-office system for mini markets and supermarkets. It runs the checkout counter - barcode scanning, payments, receipts - and everything behind it: stock levels, purchasing from suppliers, staff permissions and daily sales reports. It runs in a web browser on the computers a shop already owns.
Yes. Every screen is available in Arabic and English, with the layout mirrored right-to-left in Arabic. Printed receipts are bilingual, and product names can be stored in both languages so the same item reads correctly for any cashier.
A computer with a web browser, and a USB barcode scanner - any keyboard-wedge model works with no driver or setup. A 58mm or 80mm thermal receipt printer, a cash drawer and a label printer are supported but optional. If your scale prints EAN-13 labels with the weight encoded, Fatoura decodes them automatically.
Yes. If the network or the server becomes unreachable mid-shift, the till carries on selling. Sales are queued on the machine and sent as soon as the connection returns. Each sale carries an identifier the browser generated, so replaying the queue cannot record the same sale twice.
Yes. Each role holds a specific set of permissions, and each cashier has a maximum discount they may grant on their own. Anything beyond that needs a manager, who authorises it by typing a PIN at the till rather than signing in - and the system records who approved what, and when.
